Why did some units change their names?

Glaive Thrower, Flying Machine and Wind Rider are simple descriptions and fit the communist Blizzard naming policy. I mean Gyrocopter wtf? Its like they almost put effort into thinking of that name. Effort that could have been used thinking up balance solutions.

They renamed Black Sphynx into Destroyer because, and it's funny, Black Sphynx was racist.

Because of World of Warcraft.. They wanted to have the same names in wow and wc3.. Why they didn't name the wow units what they were in wc3 is another thing..

nbope, its because Warhammer 40k sued them - they also got rid of one of the Gryphon quotes "This Warhammer cost 40k, heh heh"
