RA2 1.007 Tourney!

The RA2 1.007 Tourney is now on!

If you want to:
- Play the best and most balanced competition patch made for Red Alert 2.
- Participate in the development of the RA2 1.007 patch for competition play.
- Help to test the suitability of the patch.
- Try out some new maps.
- Have fun!

Tournament Information

- Single elimination (knockout).

- Best-of-three series per matchup (best-of-five for the final).

- You must name your side (Allies or Soviets) for the tournament then stick with that side throughout.

- You may not choose a country (e.g. Iraq) more than once per round, you have to use different countries in subsequent games. This is to make people try all the countries.

- Maps for your round will be chosen at random from the map pool.

- Uses the 1.007 patch.

Playing with the Patch

Clearly those who are aware of the changes the patch has made will have an advantage. If you are not familiar with 1.007, check the detailed changes list.

Additionally, I will try and be in USA2 on my Piscinex nick when I can. If you want a game with the patch on then page me (or MSN me). I might arrange a regular time for running 1.007 FFGs.

Make sure you download the patch launcher. This will let you instantly switch between versions 1.006 and 1.007 (and back again) and let you update patch files and download maps.
