Get in the world server named MIDGARDSORMR!!! I play there along with my friend, and gogavgo is playing in there as well.

If you need a world pass, I can buy one for you, but tell me when you plan to sign in and I can give you the pass on msn. The pass is pretty expensive for me, and it lasts only a week from when I buy it (from the vendor).

If he comes in within roughly your time, he should be able to use the same worldpass that you use.

This is the LS I am in. My best friend started playing ffxi in beta and joined that LS, so that's really how I got into FFXI, and decided to join Savanna's Superstars.

I'm known as Firestalker, I'm currently around the Bastok/N. Gustaberg area levelling my lvl 5 thf. I also have a lvl 19 warrior.

Gav is way above and beyond my level, and yes, has more money to afford world passes ;)

K I'm a lvl 5 white mage on Midgardsomr. I hope when I level up I get to do more than cast heal for 4 hrs.

What is your character race? As soon as you get up to about level 12+, head to Valkurm Dunes. That's where you'll be able to get the subjob quest.

That way, you can do more than just heal ;)

For now, try soloing a bit if you're powerful enough. Remember that FFXI is a party-based game. Getting a good party, making friends and working together are its strongest points. I leveled most effectively till about level 12 by soloing, but I am a warrior elvaan. As a mage, your little wooden club won't do much, so stick with 2 or 3 man groups (get a tank to help you) after about level 7-10.

As a whm blm is a brill sub for you because of enfeebling spells and also good old Warp. However, i have a lvl 60 whm friend who subs summoner and gets a HUGE mp boost, either works well.

K I'm lvl 7 now (H). My friend and I have just been leveling in Saruta Baruta... Nothing else. How exactly do/should we get the story rolling? Where's a good first place to visit to get a quest or mission or something?

yes, go back to one of the guards near the exit out of your home town. You will be able to get mission 1 from there. Quests are little mini-missions that you can take all around your hometown. Just talk to people around the place.

It's both PC and PS2. It's an excellent game, and if you're into mmorpgs, it's a great thing to get. The cost is 12.95$ US per month, or about 20$ canuck dollars a month.

I play on the pc version, although the ps2 version has just been released in NA. Hmmmmm its a brill game, never been addicted to anything like this before, find myself sitting around in game for ages not actually doing anything.....just chatting and still enjoying it :p.

I play FFXI, also Ra2, well used to, im Quiklywin. I tried playing with Gavin, but he never on at sametime as I am. Never knew forsey played FFXI. thats cool. Savannasuperstars is a GOOD LS. nice to see u in it forsey. I was in DaOhana, the leader designed the website KillingIfrit.com a well known FFXI site, and I was in ChronicFantasy. I recently gave all my stuff away :( Im joining the Titan server to play with a few mates from Ra2, Makk and Jason. We use Ventrilo to talk instead of typing :\. Its fun, but im trying to get A WP to get on it, the server Midgardsmr is awesome and lots of ppl, fun place i was a 28whm/14blm. I had a good rep my name was American.

Got lots of laffs cuz of it, altho I acted JP and always used Auto Translator when in Pts. It was funny. Great game, worth the 13 bucks a month. Hey Forsy if you dont have a mule get one, put it in Windy, farm for Silk there with it. Silk in stacks are 9k. Beehive chips are 3k. unless ur in Windy than put one in Sandy. You wont regret the extra dollar a month.

ive been busy with other games, and generally lost standard combat interest in ffxi.

But I am war20/thf7 that's fishing on the mhaura-selbina ferry. I'm boosting my fishing skill, so if you're interested in meeting up with "Firestalker", just head over there and msn. I'll be glad to get on. I'm staying on the boat for an indefinite amount of time.

For rods, I have a clothespole, a tarutaru, and a fastwater rod. I've only broken one rod, and that was a tarutaru. I only have a sabiki rig. I'm asking my friend to get me a carbon rod soon. I'm wishing I could get a lu shang :D
