View Full Version : 9/11 2 year Anniversary
Well, It's the second anniversary of a merciless killing of people that were only doing their jobs, and didn't deserve to die.
I hope you all bow your heads for a minute and think what it was like for the people in the twin towers.

Ah yes, the loss of american life. Definitely the most sorrowful misfortune in this fine world.
Let's bow and reflect indeed...

^I'll be sure to use the same tone for greek people dying...
Prok, it's not the fact it was American people dying. It's the fact they were dying only doing their job, and had no idea what was happening. They were killed in cold blood, and were innocent. They died in a horrible way, some were diving off the towers to try and live, you imagine being in a fire room, things exploding and then being crushed to your death. not nice is it? This is a respect, post anything like that again and i won't hesistate to IP ban you.

They have started rebuilding, Dont feel like posting the pics of what its supposed to become
5 new buildings i believe.
It werent just american lives, there were civilians of every country in those towers.
But yes it was an attack on america.

Yes, they are rebuilding it and have something over look at the site. Only this time they are making the 2 towers taller than the old one and it will break the world's tallest building when its completed.

R.I.P.
My art teacher showed our class this video, it was coverage in the actual building where the firefighters were at work. The 1st floor lobby windows were all blown out because the explosion from the impact flew down the elevator shaft, you could hear sounds of people that jumped hitting the ground, and when the first tower collapsed it left the ones in the other tower in total blackness. It was a horrible scene.

At least I'm not the one disrespecting the victims here by using their death as an excuse for the killing of twice (or more) as many others in other parts of this fine american world. Somehow I don't believe they'd appreciate their passing serving such ends. I think you're pointing fingers at the wrong side of the atlantic.
I dunno, it just strikes me as odd that every year there will be a day for ppl to mourn those innocents, but no one will ever give another thought for other victims of this same "war". I believe most of them died in just as unpleasant conditions as those on 9/11.
And Forsy, ppl from 83 countries died in the attacks. Of course there would be some greeks among the 2709, but that's not the issue here. 9/11 serving as a hate promoting tragedy is my problem.
Anyways, I'm done participating in this lil stone-the-blasphemer charade of irated patriots and threatening admins (that topped it all!). I'd just suggest that you truly take up Reg's advice and think for a minute. For more, refer to my relevant post a year ago; it was pretty clear on my views.

what issue? reg's first post, and mine had nothing to do with americanism or the war against terror, except for the fact that it was about the attack on sept.11.
Then you come in here and start shit like the fool you are. I don't give a shit how many different nationalities died in the attack and whether it included greeks or not. You blatantly disrespected a post which mourned the dead, which did not even specify americans and was written by an ENGLISHMAN: Reg.
Stop your stupid shenanigans you dumb shit and stop trying to turn it into like people around you are just "irate patriots" and you were not at fault.

Why does everything turn into a debate/argument :S

I wasn't debating.
I was just amazed at how this guy would start making comments like that about something that is very close to some people's hearts (though not me personally).

atleast he is right about ppl who died in asian and the middle east for example:
Bali
Afganistan
IraQ
Palestine/Israel
i am not anti america but i think its even relevant
to have a moment of silence for innocent ppl out of those countries.
anyway god bless all the ppl who died because of the terror/war

This will not become a flame war or a debate. You can only show your respect here. Anything else will be deleted from now on.

you can debate what the americans did before or after 9/11, but no one can say that these innocent people working at the trade centre shouldn't be remembered.
