The Black Assassins have been around 10 months. I've decided that we're going to change the look of our home here at ba.org on our approaching 1 year anni. Expect the roll out to be complete around the beginning of June.

I will be taking suggestions on what you'd like to see on this site. Currently I think the best features are the automatic stats updater brought to us by our friend Issvar.

I think we can remove a couple sections and make the layout a little more Assassiny if that's even a word.

On a side note aegis is progressing well in his new forum roll out. It should be complete the same time ba.org is done.

So please, leave your comments on what you'd like to see in this site. I do understand our RTCW is a little undeveloped currently, and that is going to changed when we roll out 5.0.

The ip checker, like olaf had, isn't an option. Issvar and I discussed it and basically you need a bot to be on WW to check all the ips as they log on or something like that. It also requires a lot of time and programming in order to be done. Issvar is helping us out because he's a nice guy. I wouldn't ask him to do a project that would tie him down for long periods of time.

Not to mention even if we do have one, there would be no doubt flaming from the WW community. We'd need to restrict it so only BA members could view it (which is easy to do), and besides that I think it will be exploited for bad purposes and personal gain.

When the IC had access to it, we used it to see if people were in multiple clans and/or cheating. We didn't use it for personal gain.

I have a bot running in some channels in RA2 wol now, I will let it go for a week and see if it gets banned, if it doesn't get banned I'll set one up on YR as well.

well this may be a large task and not worth the trouble, but i think it would be tight if we had a clan stat system like that old one FireFoxnl had for BBF back in the day. We already kinda have one for just our clan, if we could have one that basically has all the clans that would be cool.

I also remember that Fire had it so that it would list every point gainer and loser from every registered clan and made one big list of all those individuals.

something like that would be cool, but like u said, none of u get paid for this so i doubt this is possible (cause it seems like a large project, not cause u dont know how)

actually that's pretty easy to do duff. But you need to answer is, how would this fit into our site? It might attract some people but I doubt it. I was thinking more along the lines of a YR top 10 ladder, so we wouldn't need to go to WW to see that. We could also make our clan appear on the bottom.
