holy shit, xbox game is tight, my friend works at blockbuster so i played it like last week before it came out, and damn this game is tight, hes gonna hook my up with the ps2 version, he gets 5 free rentals a week. probably one of the best games ive played. its so tight, i suggest it.

I played both the xbox and pc version. PC was way better because of the motions were a lot better with shooting and running.

It has some cool scenes and was impressed by it. But best game ever? Nein.

Best game ever is Doom. Duh!

Doom only took the engine further. Wolfenstein started it...

actually yea, the original wolfenstein started the gaming engines for FPS's. Doom enhanced it. Then after other games copying doom, Quake revolutionized everything.

Doom, imo, started the move to using graphics to convey fear, and realism into the game.

Wolfenstein was nothing more than a 2d world with very blocky graphics.

I still like both, but imo, DOOM is the best game ever.

That said, enter the matrix is very cool, and would definitely beat jk2, if not for one thing. You can't control specific punches that would make sense via the control. If you hit right+punch, it won't just do a right punch, it will do something else. The combos just don't seem very controllable, even tho they can be.

yes the combos are controllable, but not in non-focus fights.

Without focus, the sequence in which to press the buttons have to be much faster than the actual moves themselves.

Reminds me of blue stance in jk2, very difficult to combo strategically.

well, ive never played this game, but a whole bunch of my m8s have...

some of them say its a great game, and some say its a horrible game. i mean, every1 on this site says its cool, alot of people i know personally say its pretty bad, the reviews say its bad... i dunno what to believe... :\

pros: it's fun.... it's like a prequel to the movie, more story and clips that weren't in the movie. hacking is cool too, the fighting thing is cool

cons: not too long, not too sophisticated... it's pretty much the same thing in different locations. but it's fun

if you like the matrix, you'll probably like the game. it's not a great game, but it's fun to play.

MAtrix has side dodge as a move as opposed to strafe, which makes fights really close combat and not sliding around.
