ok see that little gray box in the top mid with the 4 squares in it? That is microsoft portfolio. The problem is when i bought my computer about 7 months ago it wasnt there. But one day about 2 months after i had my comp, RaZ came over and opened a program called microsoft picture it so that we could post a ss. Anyways, ever since he opened that program that stupid gray box appears evertime i start up my computer. The only way to close it is to open it and go to close, not even hitting the "x" in the top right will get rid of it. My question is, does anyone know how to get that POS of my desktop?

try to right click and find a properities section. There might be something there about disabling on start up. That or open the program and look for something similar. It should say like tools or options.... something along those lines.
If that fails make sure it's not in your start up menu.

Lol I had this same problem when I first bought my computer.
Go to Run and type msconfig, when you run that you'll get system configuration utility. Make sure the general tab is selected and click selective start up. And then deselect load start up group items. You'll then have to restart. Only problem with this is it gets rid of all your non essential startup programs. If there are some start up programs that you want when you turn on the PC, then go to the startup tab on the system configuration utility and select the ones you wish to run when the PC starts.
Hope this helps.

vsay is the voice code in any quake 3 engine game, like return to castle wolfenstein. by hitting v then 5 then 7, you give a cheer. In the counsel screen, it reads off as /bind v,5,7 vsay "woo-hoo"
