Well, since i got my new PC i never looked back to the one my parents + sister use. Now that mine isnt working anymore I've started using the other pc again.

It's really been treated bad :p

Anyways, the problem > It says it has 512 MB ram, which i know for a fact isn't true ( it is 192 Mb ram, 1 bench of 128 and 1 of 64 )

It's slow as a bitch ... I closed most stuff with ctrl+alt+del.

what to do ?

If you are using windows 98 or below the os will see that you have 512 but your hardware wont use it all. This is because 98 and below only adresses up to 256mb. So if thats your case you will have to upgrade your os to 2000 or xp.

no no
if you have a SIMM you need to have it in pairs, if you have a DIMM, you can have it individually.
