its a cool game very balanced and made by a good company

about the game itself...

If we came also from yr/ra2 and we like the game,
Then I think youd like it also

I have mixed feeling so fa, but I'm very new.

First of all, it's a VERY hard game to learn. There's a lot going on because
you constantly have to worry your hero characters and creeping, adequate defense while you cream, building up rsouces and building a good well balanced army.

Personally, I think W3 would be a better game if they didn't have the creeping and assemblage of potions/scrolls and demon huts. Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Just having heroes and a good resource-gathering, army building system works well.

however, there's a problem with W3 that I don't blame w3 because all RTS do this (except TA). And that's the old fallback to Rock paper scissors unit control strategy. RA2 was the worst at this.

I also find defensive structures overpowered (Might be me as I said I'm new), sure you can build ballistic weapons but they take a huge toll on food and defensive structures do not.. So I find siege'ing quit time consuming.

Ludacris, omri.

It takes so long to learn War 3 for me I don't even find it funny. I can't even get top 1000 easily when I played this game for nearly 3 months and have well over 200 games. Of course some players are naturally talented (kill and certainly ir0nclad) but I think most of us have a hard time matching up with old war 2 and starcraft players. The FOW is a change but not necessarily a bad change. I just can't really get used to it and I hardly ever know what my opponent is doing. Food cap IMO is a good thing. This way it's not possible to get a huge advantage over your opponent and it makes you have to mix units and micro them.

It's better than YR in every aspect except that it's so damn hard to learn. Some people like the complication... beats me why.

Prevent them from expanding is what wins this game.
as long as you dont let them expand while you do, you win.

Go atank go ur right its mostly about not letting oponiant expend (especialy on ffa)

And kay U just didnt learn the right way...

There are this ppl who just play and play and play

And there are the ppl who ask someone and learn a tactic and perfect it...

Ofcourse here you can just watch the replay

Take for example the first time u learn how to tank rush on ra2...

Omri, I play as random. Working on a certain tactic is boring and not possible anyway. I just need to better micro. Know the best counters for all mixes and better scouting.

Creeping is one of the best parts of the game. If you dont have creeping then it would be dumb.

The difference between Ra2 and Wc3 is, u need alot more skill on Wc3, u cant just get tanks and dogs and run about with them, U actually need to think which units to get, how many to get, what to research when. Its a much better game over all ;)
