An awsome rushing technique for use with Night Elves [Archive]

You have 2 be NE (Night Elves) 2 use this. You get your Demon Warrior Hero out as quickly as possible & find your enemies base. Once you find his base you quickly start attacking & killing as many peons..etc as u can (mainly the ones that are gathering wood, NOT GOLD!). If your suddenly attacked while bashing his peons, you must not leave his base yet! You watch your heros health meter closely & when it goes into the red zone you teleport out of there fast! Whenever I use this quick rush tactic, it usually puts my enemy way behind on lumber. Also, your hero has already gained exp towards a new level. :rambo:

And next time you're creeping and he is in your base you dont have a teleport, good thinking,

Just run out DH is one of the fastest if not THE fastest hero.

Instead of running in at your opponent. Why not just creep safely and gain a couple levels then attack. Those extra 2 levels and extra skills would help you a lot more. Go after his creeps so he has nothing to kill for exp. Hmmm, also the only hero realy good for this early shit is the archmage since he can cast blizzard on the workers, speeding up the killing process. If ur fightin unded or ne u can get put to sleep or entangling. Way of gettin surrounded and lose hero quik. Sure u can use your tp to get out, but thats 250 bux to buy a new one. Sure they can kill your hero. 200 bux revive. Sure you can kill one peon and then tp. So.. he loses 90 and you still lose 250. Way to go

Here's the concept in mastercard form.
Town Portal: 250gold
Revive: 200 gold
Killing oppents creeps and gaining exp and money: you win

Anywayz, loosing ur teleport isn't much 2 lose if u can slow the guys encon down. Besides, 9 times out of ten your enemy is off killing neutral units, so he'll have 2 lose his teleport too. Why the hell you think I use my teleport, so I WON'T LOSE MY HERO dumbass. Next time try actually using the strat b4 u go & blow certain starts off. :x

...Something I forgot to add was, pick the flame skill for the DH when he is done training. The extra attack power of the flame blades kills peons faster.

If you rush with 1 hero fast as possible most likely it's going to die. humans can use mitilia and footmen and their hero and i doubt if their hero is even out of base they are gonig to waste a town hall scroll over it.. for orc they can burrow and ur screwed there, and same with undead, they can get mass ghouls pretty fast and use their hero.. If you did do that I'd use the immolation spell, walk my hero in and kill at least 1 and run out whenever he's seriously hurt.. about yellow status so he has run time.

besides, peasants, peons, etc. are surprisingly resilient to DH attacks. your opponent and his partner will have enough time to counter it.

who said anything about playing 2v2 games... this is used for 1v1's mostly. :silly: Hell yeah it works on n00bs! I have beat higher level guys with my tactic. I beat a level 9 guy with it just yesterday.

If your really bent on doing this strategy at least try using KOTG or FarSeer because they can cast summons on lvl 1. Fernal or Treants. THis way you dont put your hero in immediate danger while still harassing them.

That is the dumbest fucking strat ever. If you gonna use a Hero early on to kill shit, use a FS . send 2 ferals to scout and attack his peons or perhaps a building being built. Dude you dont know what the hell ur talking about. NE is nothing but Hunts and Roar . They dont rush. No point. Why rush when u can mass hunt? and DH is a creeping hero. By the way, by the time u get to his base and u have a hero , he will have 1 hero and a grunt. and HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF BATTLE STATIONS

The Demon Hunter thing idea is OK, but it's not worth wasting the TP, and a peasant or two isn't really going to hurt him compared to you losing your tp.

blizzard is more for vs. undead and NE, cause the acos and wisps aren't coming in and out of the mine. it works great actually.

i also just had someone use a KOTG and use treants to get my acolytes, instead of the usual entangle. but it didn't work. :silly:

Water Elemental does hardly any damage for a hero rush, blizzard kills more peasants more effectively. But Elemental is vital when playing on a small map, particuarly vs NE.

Ok I know this strat is bad and obviously way overrated by manycowz but, off the top of my head I think EVERY map has a goblin Merchant. Town Portals cost, at the most, 300 Gold. Sure this depends on you getting at least 3-4 peasents but with the ArchMage or FarSeer you can do it easily. I doubt that NE has as easy a time doing this as Human or Orc. Simply because they can bring a peon or two with them for the rush and build a tower or two outside of your base while he is attacking.

Yeah, I'll admit, it's overrated... Also, talking with u guys, I understand NE might not be the best thing to use for my rush (IT DOES WORK DAMNIT!). I stand corrected... After all, I am a n00b in training in wc3. :silly:

BTW, my rank blows simply for the fact that I started quick matching in wc3 the 1st day I got the damn game. so b4 I even won my 1st game I lost about 6 b4. So it's quite simple to understand y my rank status suck. It's just 2 bad morons like you, Era..., don't think about things like that.

and the only matching bug bliz needs to fix the map one. you select 1 map and it picks the other. i have yet to meet a person that is out side my range. Not once. seriously just shut the fuck up. It doesn't work against a level 6 and above. Hell it doesn't work against any mediocre players.

In reference to the dumbass who is so naive as to think that Blizzard is perfect enough to keep their matching system running correctly. The matchjing system is all messed up. Just today I was in random 2v2 and I am lvl 6 and I got matched with a lvl 11 on my team and we played two lvl 1's. I didn't bother to save the replay because it wouldn't be worth the two minutes of your time to watch it because we totally raped them.

anarme, The reason i say this is cause i have always got matched with someone within 6 levels of me since july 17th. Only thing that has went wrong is that it chooses maps that i don't want . And fang, thats what ive been trying to get at. He shouldn't be telling people how to play when he hardly knows how. It just pisses me off.

Actually, it does matter what level you are when some1 says your level 1 & your really level 4. I haven't been telling any1 how 2 play, I was simply showing peeps a strat that has been working for me. I do try when I play & I don't talk trash (not that u came out & said I do). I am playing & I am learning. I have been having lots of fun.

The least you could do b4 u start flaming some1 is check & make sure your acquisations hold water.

era, the reason u get maps u dont want is because putting a thumb down doesnt make it a gaurantee that u wont get it. The matching system checks your map preferences and ur opponents map preferences. If neither of u have a common thumbs up map, then it randomly picks one. Thats just in case u didnt know.
